Context:

Zero Paper Day happens twice a year at Roever Engineering College to reduce paper use. It encourages using digital ways like emails, online platforms, and digital notices for communication, and announcements instead of paper. This helps the college be more environmentally friendly by cutting down on waste. During Zero Paper Day, the campus shifts to using digital tools for daily tasks, showing how effective these methods can be. It shows the college’s commitment to saving the environment and teaches students about digital skills. The event not only saves money on printing but also reduces the impact on nature from making and throwing away paper. Since its inception, Roever Engineering College has been steadfast in its mission to provide top-notch education in Engineering and Technology, aligning closely with the standards set by Anna University and the Tamil Nadu State Government.

One of the distinctive feature of Roever Engineering College is its unwavering commitment to provide quality technical education with financial assistance to deserving students. Over the past five academic years, from 2018-2019 to 2022-2023, 6,929 students have received a staggering total of 18, 98, 63,862 in scholarships. This financial support includes 17, 12, 67,512 from government scholarships, for 5,547 students. And additionally, Roever Engineering College has allocated 1, 85, 96,350 as Roever Meritorious Scholarships, recognizing the academic achievements of 1,148 students. In the scholarship received from government 3, 21, 95,000 are First Graduate Scholarships, for 1,769 first-generation learners. 9, 42, 46,457 has been dedicated to SC/ST scholarships, empowering 1,825 students and 116 students through the ₹1, 16,000 Puthumai Pen Scholarship, promoting gender equality and women’s education.

In line with our institution’s commitment to provide quality technical education from 2018-2019 to 2022-2023, our institution has successfully conducted a total of 117 value added courses courses across various disciplines. These courses were meticulously designed to cater to the diverse academic interests and career aspirations of our students.

To make our students as responsible technocrats to meet societal needs all of our students undergo Internship, Industrial tours, Seminar, Conference, Workshop, online courses, Club actives, Professional Society activities, NSS activities, Yoga, Sports and Cultural activities
