Life @ REC
Roever College of Engineering has a strong tradition of student groups and clubs to attract students from all disciplines, cutting across the courses. It is one of the features that imbue the students of Roever with a singular spell, a unique advantage over others. We strongly believe that clubs are a big part of every student’s college life. We have various clubs to enhance the life of the students by organising the students with similar interest.
Clubs @ REC
A student has much to look forward at our Roever College of Engineering than just classroom learning, & laboratory sessions, or even regular jumps into the library.
National Service Scheme (NSS)
The National Service Scheme (NSS) was officially started on 24th September 1969, to establish a meaningful linkage between the campus and the community. Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation, had recognised that the country could not progress in the desired direction until the student youth were motivated to work for the upliftment of the villages/community. For Gandhiji, the villages, where the majority of the population living, represent the country.
The red ribbon, as an awareness ribbon coloured red, is used as the symbol for the prevention of abusive drug use and drunk driving and also the solidarity of people living with HIV/AIDS.
